MyVisibleMind didn't come from a business plan. It came from decades of using abstract drawing to process what words couldn't reach — and a belief that more people deserve that kind of release.
The Origin Story
Jeffrey Losner was born in 1953. He didn't grow up in a home where feelings were named or processed — he grew up in one where they were managed, suppressed, and survived. Like a lot of people.
What he discovered, over decades of living, was that his hands knew things his mind hadn't caught up to yet. Abstract drawing became his way of externalizing the interior — of making visible what had no words. His paintings are not decorative. They are maps of feeling. Emotional states given form, color, and space.
The Abstract Tray Method™ grew out of that practice. Not as art therapy — Jeffrey isn't a clinician. But as a structured, repeatable system for moving emotional energy out of the body and onto a page. Something anyone could do. No talent required. No experience necessary. Just a tray, some drawing tools, and a willingness to let the hand move.
MyVisibleMind is the digital home of everything that grew from that practice. A place where the tools that helped Jeffrey survive and heal are available to anyone — free, accessible, and paired with the kind of AI companion that listens before it suggests.
And because Jeffrey knows firsthand how hard it is to choose a therapist — to sit across from a stranger and hand them your most vulnerable self — this platform was designed to make that moment less terrifying. Mira exists because the journey to therapy begins long before the first session.
The People Behind It
Our Mission
Most mental wellness platforms are built for people who already know they need help and have already decided to get it. We're built for the moment before that — the moment when someone knows something is wrong but doesn't yet know what to do about it.
MyVisibleMind is for that moment. The tools, the AI companion, the therapist directory — everything here is designed to reduce the distance between feeling something and doing something about it.
Your data is yours. We don't sell it. We don't share it. Your journal stays private unless you choose to share it.
Every tool on this platform is free for members. Always. Financial barriers should never stand between someone and emotional wellness support.
We are not therapy. We are the bridge to therapy — and the support structure around it. We believe in professional care and actively direct people toward it.
Crisis resources are never hidden. 988 is always one tap away. Mira is trained to route crisis signals to professional help immediately.
No venture capital. No data-selling business model. MyVisibleMind is independently owned and operated. Therapist relationships belong to therapists. Always.
The Abstract Tray Method™ is peer-reviewed and academically supported. We don't make clinical claims we haven't earned.
The Abstract Mind Family
MyVisibleMind is part of the An Abstract Mind LLC family of platforms — all built around The Abstract Tray Method™ and Jeffrey Losner's mission of making emotions visible.
