MyVisibleMind is a wellness and emotional support platform. It is not a healthcare provider, mental health clinic, therapy service, or medical provider. Content on this platform is for informational and wellness purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Member accounts are free and require a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this platform. If you are under 18, you should have parental consent.

Therapists, counselors, and wellness professionals listed in the directory are independent contractors and are not employed by An Abstract Mind LLC. We do not verify credentials, licenses, or insurance status. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging any professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, An Abstract Mind LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, location (city/state), and the reasons you're using the platform. We also store activity data (tools used, mood check-ins, journal entries) that you create while using the platform.
Your account data is stored securely. Journal entries and mood data are stored locally on your device (browser storage) in the current platform version. Future versions will include server-side storage with full encryption.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting hello@anabstractmind.com.
We use minimal cookies for session management and platform functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies to covered entities — healthcare providers, health plans, and healthcare clearinghouses. MyVisibleMind is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We do not provide healthcare services, and the information you share on this platform is not considered Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
The wellness tools, AI companion (Mira), and journaling features on this platform are not medical services. Information you share with Mira, in your journal, or through mood check-ins is wellness data — not medical data — and is not protected by HIPAA.
When you connect with a licensed therapist through our directory, that therapist-client relationship is separate from MyVisibleMind's platform operations. Licensed therapists are independently responsible for their own HIPAA compliance in their practice.
While not legally required under HIPAA, we voluntarily follow privacy best practices that align with HIPAA's spirit — including data minimization, access controls, and prohibition on selling health-related information.
The tools, AI companion, and content on MyVisibleMind are designed to support emotional wellness and personal growth. They are not a substitute for professional mental health care.

Mira is powered by Claude (Anthropic), a large language model AI. She is designed to provide warm, supportive reflections and guidance. She is not a human. She is not a therapist. She cannot diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical treatment.
Mira's conversations do not persist between sessions — each conversation starts fresh. She is trained to route crisis signals to 988 and professional resources immediately.
The Find My Match feature uses AI to suggest therapists based on your stated preferences and needs. These are suggestions only — not clinical referrals. The matching algorithm considers stated preferences and available therapist profiles.
Reflections generated after mood check-ins, tray sessions, and journal entries are AI-generated responses. They are intended to be supportive and reflective, not diagnostic or prescriptive.
